The Pakistan Stock Exchange closed the week on a positive note, driven primarily by strong performance in the banking sector. However, lingering uncertainty around the resolution of the power sector’s circular debt once again triggered profit-taking in oil and gas stocks.

By week’s end, the benchmark KSE-100 index posted a gain of 1,109 points, up 0.76%, settling at 146,492.

In this episode of Stock Watch, Nukta’s Shuja Qureshi is joined by Shahbaz Ashraf, Head of Research at Nukta, and Shankar Talreja, Director Research at Topline Securities. Together, they explore sectors trading at attractive valuations and highlight investment opportunities that could deliver good returns. Watch now!
