Pakistan's Roshan Digital Account inflows reach $8.95 billion by October
From September 2020 to October 2024, net investments through RDA amounted to $1.125 billion
Pakistan's Roshan Digital Account (RDA) gross inflows have reached $8.953 billion by October, an increase of $204 million from September's $8.749 billion, according to the data issued by the central bank.
Of the total funds received, $1.674 billion has been repatriated while $5.686 billion has been utilized locally. From September 2020 to October 2024, net investments through RDA amounted to $1.125 billion.
Roshan Digital Accounts offer innovative banking solutions for millions of Non-Resident Pakistanis (NRPs) and Pakistan Origin Card (POC) holders, facilitating their banking, payment, and investment activities in Pakistan.
For annualized returns on investments in USD, RDA offers 8.25% for 3 months, 8.50% for 6 months, 9.0% for 12 months, and 8.0% for both three and five years.
Investment in GBP attract returns at the rate of 7.25% for three months, 7.5% for six months, 8.0% for 12 months, and 7.5% for both three and five years.
Euro rates are 6.25% for three months, 6.5% for six months, 7.0% for 12 months, and 6.5% for both three and five years.
RDA investment in PKR offers the highest rates at 21% for three months, 21.25% for six months, 21.5% for 12 months, 17.5% for three years, and 15% for five years.
