Shajar won gold, 100m, and a bronze, 200m, medal at the Qosanov Memorial Athletics Championships in Almaty, Kazakhstan, in 2022. He also clinched gold in 200m in Imam Reza Cup in Iran in 2022.
In 2022, Shajar became the first Pakistani sprinter to qualify for the Commonwealth Games finals.
