The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) in Pakistan has announced the maximum liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices for April 2025, effective from April 1, reflecting a marginal increase in both producer and consumer rates.

The updated prices reflect global market dynamics and the slight volatility in currency exchange rates, emphasizing OGRA's role in maintaining transparency in pricing.

The notified producer price for April 2025 stands at PKR 207,065.14 per ton or PKR 2,443.37 per 11.8 kg cylinder, up by PKR 541.99 per ton or PKR 6.40 per cylinder compared to March 2025.

Similarly, the consumer price has risen to PKR 248,365.14 per ton or PKR 2,930.71 per 11.8 kg cylinder, marking an identical increase of PKR 6.40 per cylinder.

The price adjustment is attributed to a 0.75% rise in the average US dollar exchange rate since the previous month. Despite the fluctuation, the Saudi Aramco Contract Price (CP), a key factor in determining LPG rates, has remained unchanged. The per-kilogram consumer price has increased modestly by PKR 0.54, representing a 0.21% hike.
