Talha Anjum retains the Top Pakistani Artist spot for the second year running.
“Jhol” by Maanu x Annural Khalid is Pakistan’s most-streamed song of 2025.
Bayaan’s Safar becomes Pakistan’s Top Album, solidifying the return of album culture.
Spotify Wrapped 2025 has dropped, and it’s a milestone moment for Pakistan’s rapidly evolving music landscape. Rap phenomenon Talha Anjum has once again secured the Top Pakistani Artist spot for the second year in a row, in a year where local music listening surged by a massive 70 percent.
Adding to the excitement, Bayaan’s album Safar , which we confidently predicted at the end of 2024 would dominate 2025 has officially claimed the title of Pakistan’s No. 1 album of the year.
The Top Artists lineup brings together the best of both worlds. Alongside Anjum, modern hitmakers Umair and Hasan Raheem shine at the top, while legends Atif Aslam and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan continue to remain fan favourites. Rising stars including Maanu, Bayaan, Afusic, AliSoomroMusic, and Annural Khalid round out the list, making this one of the most diverse musical years yet.
“Jhol” by Maanu and Annural Khalid leads the Top Songs, followed by Afusic and AliSoomroMusic’s “Pal Pal” and Bayaan’s “Maand.” The year strongly belonged to hip-hop and indie-pop, with Anjum and Umair’s collaborations continuing to dominate the charts.
Album culture saw a powerful comeback too. With Safar at number one, the list also includes My Terrible Mind, ROCKSTAR WITHOUT A GUITAR, Open Letter, and evergreen favourites like Imran Khan’s Unforgettable and Kaavish’s Gunkali.
What’s Coming in 2026
If 2025 was the year of returns, revivals, and runs on repeat, 2026 is shaping up to be the year of bold collaboration.
Early buzz suggests:
- HAVI and Samar Jafri are working on a joint project.
- Farhan Saeed and Asim Azhar, may be.
With artists beginning to experiment across genres, Pakistan’s music scene is gearing up for an even more unpredictable and exciting year ahead.
