Ten more convoys of aid that UAE sent through Egypt's Rafah border crossing have reached war-struck Gaza, Emirati media reported Friday.
The convoys comprise 175 trucks carrying over 2,400 tons of humanitarian aid, including food supplies, medical provisions, children's nutritional supplements, dates, shelter tents, clothing, and other essential items, according to WAM.
The latest delivery brings the total number of aid convoys entering Gaza under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 to 175.
"The UAE remains steadfast in its humanitarian support for the Palestinian people in Gaza, working to alleviate the challenging circumstances they endure, reduce the suffering of the most vulnerable, and provide for their essential needs," according to a statement issued on WAM.
Gaza, one of the world's most densely populated areas, has been devastated by Israel's military offensive. The enclave is short of food, water and shelter, and in need of billions of dollars in foreign aid.
More than 48,000 Palestinians have been killed in the war, the Gaza Health Ministry says, and nearly all of Gaza's pre-war population of 2.3 million has been internally displaced by the conflict.
