The latest shipment of three tonnes of medications and medical materials was sent from the UAE field hospital in Rafah to the U.K. field hospital in the Al Mawasi safe zone to address the critical shortage of medical resources in the region.
Gaza’s healthcare system faces significant challenges due to the ongoing conflict and a large number of displaced individuals requiring medical attention. To date, more than 400 tonnes of medical aid have been delivered under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.

In addition to the UAE’s contributions, international collaborations with organizations like the World Health Organisation are ongoing to enhance humanitarian efforts in Gaza. Field hospitals, such as the UAE and U.K. facilities, are essential in providing necessary medical care to the affected population.
This continued assistance highlights the collective international response to the urgent healthcare needs in Gaza, aimed at improving access to medical services amid challenging conditions.
