UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed held separate telephone discussions with several foreign counterparts to review regional developments and coordinate diplomatic responses following reported Iranian missile attacks in the region and a US-announced temporary ceasefire with Iran, WAM reported.
He spoke with Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Netherlands’ Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen, and Singapore’s Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan.
During the calls, Abdullah bin Zayed expressed appreciation for what he described as solidarity shown by the respective countries toward the UAE, while also assuring that residents and visitors in the country remain safe.
The conversations also covered recent regional developments, including US President Donald Trump’s announcement of a two-week ceasefire between Washington and Tehran.
According to official statement, the ministers underscored the importance of coordinated international efforts to de-escalate tensions and work toward a durable framework for regional peace and broader global stability.
