UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrived in Ankara on an official state visit and was warmly received by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the Presidential Palace, WAM reported.
The visit began with a formal welcome ceremony, featuring a traditional horseback escort leading Sheikh Mohamed’s motorcade to the official platform. Both national anthems were played, and an honor guard stood in salute to mark the occasion.
President Sheikh Mohamed exchanged greetings with Turkish ministers and senior officials, while President Erdoğan welcomed members of the UAE delegation.
During the visit, the two leaders are expected to hold high-level talks focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation and advancing joint development goals. Discussions will also touch on key regional and global matters of shared concern.
