UAE president and Qatar prime minister discuss regional stability, cooperation
Leaders of the UAE and Qatar met in Abu Dhabi to discuss strengthening bilateral ties and ensuring regional stability.
President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani for a high-level meeting on Wednesday at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi.

The two leaders focused on strengthening close ties between the two nations, discussing ways to further cooperation for the benefit of both peoples. They also talked about how to ensure regional security and stability, an issue of particular importance for both countries.
In addition to bilateral matters, Sheikh Mohamed and Sheikh Mohammed shared views on key regional and international challenges, particularly in the Middle East.
They emphasized the importance of pushing for a ceasefire and de-escalation in ongoing conflicts, while also working to prevent the spread of violence that could threaten regional stability.
The Qatari Prime Minister was received upon arrival in Abu Dhabi by Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and his delegation included key officials such as Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
