The UAE is set to experience several days of rain, with the National Center of Meteorology forecasting showers across various regions from Monday, Dec. 23, to Thursday, Dec. 26.

According to the center’s five-day bulletin, rainfall is likely over coastal areas, islands, and northern and eastern regions. The heaviest rain is expected on Wednesday, Dec. 25, and Thursday, Dec. 26.

This week’s temperatures are predicted to range from 26°C in coastal areas and islands to as low as 5°C in mountainous regions. A cold air mass combined with an upper air current from the west is expected to lead to increased cloud formation, with some areas potentially seeing convective clouds.

Morning conditions will remain humid, with chances of mist and fog developing in several areas throughout the week.

Wind conditions will vary from light to moderate but could intensify at times, possibly causing blowing sand and dust in exposed regions.

The seas are forecast to range from slight to moderate, with conditions occasionally becoming rough and cloudy in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
