Sheikh Khaled’s visit brings new agreements in tech, energy, and education
Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has held official talks with Singapore’s Prime Minister Lawrence Wong at the Singapore Parliament House.
Prime Minister Wong warmly welcomed Sheikh Khaled, noting the importance of this visit in strengthening UAE-Singapore relations and fostering cooperation across various sectors.
Their discussions centered on deepening bilateral relations and exploring new avenues for collaboration in fields such as technology, clean energy, and urban planning, all aimed at mutual benefits for the UAE and Singapore. Sheikh Khaled emphasized the UAE's commitment to enhancing partnerships with Singapore, particularly in innovation, sustainable development, and knowledge-based economic growth.
High-ranking officials from both countries were in attendance, including Minister of State Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak and several senior government figures from Singapore.

A ceremony followed to mark the signing of several MoUs between UAE and Singaporean institutions. These included agreements on public service cooperation, AI, social development, civil service training, nuclear energy, education, and dispute resolution.
These agreements are set to expand cooperation in civil service, AI, energy, and education.
Notably, Mubadala Capital and Seviora Holdings also signed an MoU to explore investment opportunities, while the United Arab Emirates University and the National University of Singapore agreed to collaborate on research, policy, and data analysis, further strengthening ties between the two nations.
