Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in South Korea, where the UAE is participating as a guest of honor at the invitation of President Yoon Suk Yeol.
The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across a range of sectors, including trade, investment, renewable energy and technology, WAM reported.
Both leaders underscored the importance of promoting sustainable economic growth, diversifying partnerships, and facilitating greater private-sector collaboration.
They also explored opportunities to enhance the exchange of expertise and innovation between the two nations, particularly in food security, clean energy, and advanced industries—areas seen as vital to future development.
The meeting reflected both countries’ shared commitment to building dynamic partnerships that contribute to regional and global stability.
Senior UAE officials attending the talks included Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Saeed bin Mubarak Al Hajeri, Saif Saeed Ghobash, Maryam Eid AlMheiri, and Abdulla Saif Al Nuaimi, UAE Ambassador to South Korea.
