Zipping around the city on an e-scooter or a bicycle? RTA continues its awareness campaigns and inspections.
Dubai Police have impounded over 640 bicycles and e-scooters following a surge in traffic violations by riders. The crackdown, part of a wider campaign to improve road safety, aims to deter dangerous behaviour that puts both riders and pedestrians at risk.
Common offences included speeding, failure to wear safety gear, riding against traffic, and disregarding pedestrian crossings. Assistant Commandant for Operations Affairs Dubai Police Major General Abdullah Ali Al Ghaithi emphasized the importance of obeying traffic laws to protect all road users.
The police force issued a stern warning to cyclists and scooter riders to prioritize safety and adhere to regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.

- Al Quoz Creative Zone Track
- Mushrif Track next to Sheikh Zayed Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan street
- Track from Jumeirah to Al Khail Road
