The army chief conveyed Pakistan’s greetings and reaffirmed commitment to strengthening ties with Jordan

Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, during an official visit to Jordan, met with Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces King Abdullah II to discuss strengthening bilateral defense and security ties.
Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah also attended the meeting.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the leaders exchanged views on regional security developments and explored ways to enhance military cooperation between the two countries. The army chief conveyed greetings from the people, government, and armed forces of Pakistan and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to deepening ties with Jordan.
King Abdullah II acknowledged the professionalism and contributions of the Pakistan Armed Forces toward regional peace and stability and expressed interest in further defense collaboration.
Earlier, Field Marshal Munir met with Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Huneiti, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Jordan Armed Forces, at the General Headquarters in Amman, where he was received with a guard of honor.
The discussions highlighted the longstanding relationship between Pakistan and Jordan’s armed forces. Al-Huneiti recognized Pakistan’s role in regional security and emphasized the importance of continued cooperation in defense matters.
