Brighton & Hove Albion staged a storming second-half comeback with Danny Welbeck sealing a 3-2 home win over Tottenham Hotspur in a topsy-turvy Premier League clash on Sunday.
Goals by Brennan Johnson and James Maddison gave a dominant Spurs side a thoroughly deserved 2-0 lead at the interval.
But the game was turned upside down after the break as Tottenham's defence fell apart under pressure to concede three goals in the space of 18 minutes.
Yankuba Minteh pulled a goal back for the hosts three minutes after the restart before Georginio Rutter levelled from close range. Welbeck then headed Brighton's third after more flimsy defending by the visitors.
Brighton's first win in five league games lifted them above Spurs into sixth place in the table with 12 points from seven games, while Tottenham are in ninth spot on 10.
Meanwhile, Manchester United grounded out a 0-0 draw at Aston Villa on Sunday with the club suffering their worst start to a season in the Premier League era and speculation rife about the future of under-fire manager Erik ten Hag.
The draw sends Unai Emery's men into the international break in fifth in the table on 14 points after seven games, while United are languishing in 14th with eight points.
Their points tally is United's lowest in their opening seven matches of a Premier League campaign and their lowest in any league season since 1989-90 (seven points), when they went on to finish 13th under Alex Ferguson -- his lowest league finish as manager.
Last-gasp goal earns Frankfurt 3-3 draw against Bayern
Eintracht Frankfurt's Bundesliga top scorer Omar Marmoush scored twice, with his stoppage time equaliser snatching a 3-3 home draw against Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich on Sunday.
Marmoush, who had brought the sides level at 1-1 in the first half, completed a quick break in added time to bag the last-gasp goal that salvaged a point and made it three matches without a win in all competitions for the Bavarians.
Bayern now have 14 points and lead the standings on goal difference ahead of RB Leipzig, who were 1-0 winners at Heidenheim earlier on Sunday. Eintracht are third on 13.
PSG lose top spot after 1-1 draw at Nice
Paris St Germain lost out on first place in Ligue 1 after a dramatic 1-1 draw at Nice on Sunday, with Luis Enrique's side now two points behind leaders AS Monaco.
Nice started brightly and created several chances as PSG struggled to find their rhythm. Home defender Ali Al-Abdi opened the scoring six minutes before halftime with a powerful shot after a Jonathan Clauss corner that beat goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
The visitors found their stride when Ousmane Dembele, who returned to the side after being dropped for PSG's Champions League defeat at Arsenal in midweek, crossed for Nuno Mendes to equalise seven minutes after the break.
However, the capital side failed to find a winner as Nice held firm despite coming under late pressure, with efforts from Vitinha and Dembele kept out by goalkeeper Marcin Bulka.
Lewandowski scores hat-trick in La Liga
Robert Lewandowski's first-half hat-trick guided LaLiga leaders Barcelona to a 3-0 win away at Deportivo Alaves on Sunday as the Polish striker extended his lead at the top of the league's scoring charts.
Lewandowski's treble made him the first player to net 10 goals in LaLiga this season and the second in Europe's top leagues after Manchester City's Erling Haaland.
The victory moved Barcelona to 24 points, three points clear of rivals Real Madrid, while Alaves are 12th with 10 points.
