Saira Ehsan became the first woman to win a gold medal in the - 60 kg para kyorugi event in the recently concluded 18th Korean Ambassador National Taekwondo Championship held in Islamabad.
The 19-year-old, who is based in Karachi, has an upper limb deficiency, and participates in the K40 (physically disabled) category.
Saira is the first woman from Sindh to win gold medals in different national para taekwondo championships; 2020 in Lahore, 2022 in Islamabad and 2023 in Sukkur.
