Dubai Chamber of Commerce welcomes 70,500 new members in 2024

The Dubai Chamber of Commerce reported a substantial increase in new companies joining its membership in 2024, with figures soaring to 70,500—an 8% rise originating from Pakistan, a statement posted on its website noted.

The chamber, one of three under the Dubai Chambers' umbrella, revealed key milestones achieved over the past year. By year-end, active membership reached 258,318, marking an impressive 18% annual growth compared to 2023.

Moreover, the value of exports and re-exports by chamber members exceeded AED 300 billion for the first time since the chamber's inception, achieving a 9.2% annual increase to reach AED 309.6 billion.

The issuance of Certificates of Origin also saw an 8% rise, totaling 791,115, while the chamber issued and received 5,357 ATA Carnets for goods and commodities, valued at AED 4.3 billion.
