Dubai Safari Park
Dubai Safari Park will reopen for its eighth season on October 12 with a new brand platform, 'Live More Wild Life', and a range of visitor experiences, as the attraction builds on strong growth in its travel-trade business, Khaleej Times reported.
When does Dubai Safari Park reopen?
The park's eighth season begins on October 12, when it will debut a new brand platform, 'Live More Wild Life', alongside a range of visitor experiences. Dubai Safari Park announced the details during Arabian Travel Market, a five-day international tourism event held at Dubai World Trade Centre.
What new experiences will Dubai Safari Park offer?
Among the new offerings will be the Royal Safari Experience, a four-hour private guided tour for groups of up to 10 people.
The package will include VIP treatment, reserved seating and private tours of the park.
How much has Dubai Safari Park's travel-trade business grown?
The new season follows a strong performance in the previous year. Dubai Safari Park recorded a 26% increase in business-to-business revenue, while B2B ticket sales rose 16% year-on-year, according to a statement issued by the park. Business-to-business visitors accounted for 62% of total weekday footfall during the previous season.
What new animals has Dubai Safari Park welcomed?
The park also expanded its animal population during its seventh season, including the arrival of a Southern White Rhino classified as Near Threatened and 143 other newborn animals.
Its conservation credentials also received international recognition during the season, when Dubai Safari Park became a member of both the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA) and the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA).
How is Dubai Safari Park expanding its international reach?
Ahead of the new season, the park is also seeking to strengthen its presence in key international tourism markets. It has appointed Buzz Marketing as its official sales and marketing representative in India, while Action Global will represent the park across Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) markets.
Muna Al Hajeri, director of Dubai Safari Park, said the attraction was continuing to expand international partnerships while developing new visitor experiences.
"The strong growth we have seen from our travel trade partners this season gives us great confidence as we look ahead to Season eight," she said. "We look forward to welcoming even more visitors from the UAE and around the world to experience the park in new ways."
