Dubai witnessed over 2.5 million people using public transport on New Year’s Eve 2025, according to official data.

The total number of passengers utilizing public transport, shared mobility, and taxis during the celebrations reached 2,502,474, marking a 9.3% rise compared to the 2,288,631 passengers recorded during the same event last year.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) highlighted that passenger movement to and from celebration venues was both seamless and safe, thanks to a well-coordinated plan developed in collaboration with key entities across the city.
