Dubai’s iconic dancing fountain will close for five months starting May 2025 for a comprehensive upgrade, property developer Emaar announced.

The renovation will introduce advanced technology, enhanced choreography, and upgraded lighting and sound to create a more immersive experience.

Emaar emphasized its commitment to keeping the Dubai Fountain among the world’s most captivating attractions.

"As we elevate this iconic landmark, we continue to create experiences that connect people, inspire wonder, and stand the test of time," said Mohamed Alabbar, Founder of Emaar.

Located at the base of the Burj Khalifa near Dubai Mall, the Dubai Fountain is one of the city’s top tourist attractions, drawing millions of visitors each year with its synchronized water, music, and light performances.

During the closure, tourists and residents can explore Downtown Dubai’s other attractions, including luxury shopping, fine dining, and cultural experiences.

The revamped Dubai Fountain is expected to return in late 2025, promising a more spectacular and technologically advanced show.
