In the final of the President's Trophy Grade One, a historic record was set as four wickets fell in just three balls. PTV's fast bowler Muhammad Shahzad delivered a sensational "golden over," conceding only one run while claiming four wickets. He also secured a hat-trick by dismissing Umar Amin, Fawad Alam, and Irfan Khan Niazi.

The match, held at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, saw PTV winning the toss and elected to bowl first against State Bank. On the opening day, Shahzad produced an extraordinary spell that left a lasting impact.

In the 26.3rd over, Shahzad bowled out captain Umar Amin (6). Off the very next delivery, Fawad Alam (0) was caught out. Saud Shakeel, arriving late at the crease, was ruled timed out. On the following ball, Shahzad dismissed Irfan Niazi for a duck, completing his hat-trick in spectacular fashion.

Shahzad finished the first innings with outstanding figures of 5 for 29. State Bank was bowled out for 205 runs. In response, PTV ended the day at 49 for 3. Shamil Hussain (6), Imam-ul-Haq (9), and Muhammad Taha (0) were dismissed early.

At stumps, Waqar Hussain remained unbeaten on 21, while Muhammad Mohsin was not out on 13. Niaz Khan was the pick of the bowlers for State Bank, claiming two wickets.
