Global Village announces new attractions for Season 29

Global Village has announced a series of new attractions ahead of its launch on October 16.

The seasonal Dubai attraction will feature three new pavilions, bringing the total to 30 pavilions celebrating 90 cultures. An all-new Restaurant Plaza will also be introduced, offering 11 two-story dining experiences located next to the funfair, or Carnaval, with views of live performances on a central stage.

Major food alleys — Railway Market, Floating Market, and Fiesta Street — will be revamped, with Fiesta Street now featuring two-story kiosks to accommodate more diners. The park will also see more extensive green promenades throughout the premises.

How to get there

Global Village is easily accessible by car or taxi along Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311). Ample parking is available, along with transport from the parking lot to the park gates.

For those opting for public transport, five RTA buses currently service Global Village for AED 10:

• Bus 102 from Rashidiya Metro Station
• Bus 103 from Union Metro Station, passing through Al Rebat Street
• Bus 104 from Ghubaiba Bus Station, passing through Al Jafiliya Metro Station
• Bus 106 from Mall of the Emirates Metro Station, passing through Al Barsha A2, Al Barsha Lulu Supermarket, Dubai American Academy 2, Classic Crystal 2, and Al Quoz Clinical Pathology Services 2
• Bus 107 from Al Nahda 1 Bus Station

Ajman has also announced bus routes to and from Global Village for AED 25 from Al Musalla Station. The first bus will leave Ajman at 2:15 p.m., with the last departure at 6:15 p.m. The first trip from Global Village will depart at 3:45 p.m., with the last bus leaving at 12:30 a.m. on weekdays. On weekends, the last trip from Global Village will depart at 1:30 a.m.

When it’s open

Season 29 will run from Oct. 16, 2024, to May 11, 2025.

Global Village will generally operate from 4 p.m. to midnight Sunday through Wednesday and from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. Thursday through Saturday.

Entry on Tuesdays is restricted to families, couples, and ladies, unless it is a public holiday.
