Dubai is set to celebrate the 53rd anniversary of the UAE's unification with an exciting lineup of events over the long weekend. From dazzling fireworks to cultural performances, here’s how you can make the most of Eid Al Etihad.
Fireworks

Nothing says celebration like fireworks, and Dubai’s grand displays are a beloved tradition. Head to JBR Beach, Al Seef, Hatta, or Dubai Festival City Mall for breathtaking shows. You can also catch spectacular illuminations at the Burj Khalifa, Global Village, Bluewaters Island, and Riverland at Dubai Parks and Resorts.
Union Day parade
Join the grand Union Day Parade at City Walk on Dec. 2, organized in collaboration with Watani Al Emarat. Expect a vibrant display of floats, traditional dress, marching bands, horseback riders, and Dubai Police vehicles.
Cultural performances
Celebrate the UAE's heritage with cultural events hosted by Dubai Culture at Hatta Heritage Village, Al Shindagha Museum, the Etihad Museum, and Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood.

Special illuminations will light up landmarks like the Dubai Frame, Infinity Bridge, and Clock Tower in the UAE’s national colors—red, green, white, and black. The Firdaus Orchestra will also perform free concerts at Expo City, featuring Emirati national songs.

Don’t miss the UAE Flag Garden at Umm Suqeim Beach, open until Jan. 10, 2025. Featuring 11,600 flags, the display forms a stunning mosaic of UAE founding fathers Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, set against the iconic Burj Al Arab.
