Jordan's King Abdullah II watched Pakistani forces demonstrate drone warfare and coordinated military operations Sunday, capping a state visit focused on deepening defense cooperation between the Middle Eastern kingdom and the South Asian nuclear power.
The Jordanian monarch, accompanied by Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Azerbaijan's defense industry minister Vugar Valeh oglu Mustafayev, observed the live-fire exercises at the Tilla Field Firing Ranges, 25 kilometers from Jhelum in Punjab province.
King Abdullah praised the professionalism and readiness of Pakistani troops and aircrews after watching the multi-domain drill, which featured ground maneuvers, aerial firepower, spectrum warfare capabilities and multi-purpose drones.

"The visit underscores the enduring friendship, mutual trust and shared aspirations for peace, stability and development" between the two nations, Sharif said at the event.
Field Marshal Asim Munir, Pakistan's army chief, said both countries remained committed to expanding military cooperation and advancing regional stability.
