New 'On & Off' tourist bus to hit Dubai streets in September
Bus service will start from Dubai Mall and cover 8 other destinations, with tickets priced at AED 35
The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is set to debut its ‘On & Off Bus’ service, designed to showcase the emirate's iconic landmarks and tourist attractions, in September.
The On & Off Bus will depart from Dubai Mall and make stops at eight other key destinations.
The service will integrate with Dubai's public transport network, allowing passengers to easily connect to the metro, ferry, or other bus services. Al Ghubaiba station, a major transportation hub, will serve as a key connection point.
Passengers will have the flexibility to explore each attraction at their leisure before continuing their journey on the next bus.
Ahmed Bahrozyan, CEO of the Public Transport Agency at RTA said:
“The increasing influx of tourists, businesspeople, and investors descending on Dubai from around the globe are drawn by the UAE’s safety, security, world-class services and robust infrastructure across all sectors, including public transportation, unique tourist attractions, and the universal respect and appreciation for tourists and visitors”
The motto of this initiative is to “Discover Dubai, one stop at a time”.
The bus will operate every hour between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. daily. A single ticket, priced at AED 35, allows passengers to hop on and off throughout the day.
