Pakistan has announced its squads for the upcoming white-ball series against the West Indies, featuring three T20Is and three ODIs.

The tour is set to start with a T20I series on July 31, August 2, and August 3 at Lauderhill in Florida, followed by the ODI matches, which will be held at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad & Tobago on August 8, 10, and 12.

After a disappointing T20I series defeat to Bangladesh, Pakistan has opted for a more experienced bowling arsenal. Pace spearheads Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, and Hasan Ali return to bolster the attack.

However, despite being Pakistan’s top wicket-taker in Bangladesh with seven wickets in three games, Salman Mirza has been left out of the squad.

Salman Ali Agha will continue to captain the T20I side. Whereas, Mohammad Rizwan will lead a more seasoned ODI outfit, with Agha as his deputy. Shaheen also returns to the ODI squad after missing out from the three-match ODI series against New Zealand in April. The only fresh face in the 50-over setup is young batter Hasan Nawaz, who receives his maiden call-up.

All-rounders Hussain Talat and Mohammad Nawaz are part of both the ODI and T20I squads.

Talat has been recalled after six years, having played his only ODI against South Africa in Durban on January 22, 2019. Saim Ayub, who suffered injury during a match against South Africa on December 22, 2024, in Johannesburg, and had also missed Champions Trophy and New Zealand series, is also in the ODI squad.

Players omitted from the previous ODI squad which toured New Zealand include Akif Javed, Imam-ul-Haq, Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Ali, Mohammad Waseem Jr, Irfan Khan Niazi, Tayyab Tahir and wicketkeeper-batter Usman Khan.

T20I squad: Salman Ali Agha (c), Abrar Ahmed, Faheem Ashraf, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, Hasan Ali, Hasan Nawaz, Hussain Talat, Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Haris (wk), Mohammad Nawaz, Sahibzada Farhan (wk), Saim Ayub, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Sufiyan Muqeem

ODI squad: Mohammad Rizwan (c), Salman Ali Agha (vc), Abdullah Shafique, Abrar Ahmed, Babar Azam, Faheem Ashraf, Fakhar Zaman, Hasan Ali, Hasan Nawaz, Hussain Talat, Mohammad Haris (wk), Mohammad Nawaz, Naseem Shah, Saim Ayub, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Sufiyan Muqeem
