Pakistan's tractor industry achieved remarkable growth in December, with sales reaching 7,030 units — a 170% increase compared to December last year and a 105% rise from the previous month.

The surge was primarily driven by the delivery of tractors under the Green Tractor Scheme.

Millat Tractors Limited (MTL) marked a significant milestone, recording its highest monthly sales in nearly seven years. MTL's tractor volumes reached 4,686 units, demonstrating a 2.2x growth compared to December 2023.

Analysts attribute this exceptional performance to improved farmer liquidity, favorable government policies, and timely delivery of tractors. The strong sales figures underscore a robust recovery in the agriculture sector and highlight MTL's solid market presence.
