The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Abu Dhabi T10 (ADT10) have resolved their differences, clearing the way for Pakistani cricketers to feature in the 10-over competition starting on Saturday.

Under the agreement, the PCB will receive a one-time payment in exchange for issuing No-Objection Certificates (NOCs) to the selected players. The arrangement will also provide Pakistan cricketers with access to training and cricket facilities at the Abu Dhabi Cricket and Sports Hub for the next 12 months.

How did the two parties resolve the dispute?

According to ESPNcricinfo, the agreement received formal approval on Thursday, just 48 hours before the tournament's scheduled start.

Although the PCB initially sought USD 10,000 per NOC for the 16 Pakistani players selected during the September 30 draft, the final payment is understood to be below that figure.

The board had delayed issuing clearances despite ADT10 submitting its NOC applications shortly after completing the player selection process more than a month ago.

Is this another instance of last-minute NOC demands?

The resolution follows another recent dispute involving the PCB and an overseas T20 league.

In October, the board prevented Pakistani players from participating in the Nepal Premier League, demanding USD 25,000 per NOC despite having previously issued the clearances.

The intervention came just days before the competition, when several players had already travelled to Nepal.

Which Pakistani players are participating?

Salman Irshad (Arabian Aces), Akif Javed, Hasan Nawaz, Ali Raza (Emirates Eagles), Naseem Shah (Royal Desert Champions), Shadab Khan, Mohammad Amir, Khawaja Nafay, Khushdil Shah, Azam Khan, Mohammad Wasim Jnr (UAE Bulls), Fakhar Zaman, Iftikhar Ahmed, Faheem Ashraf, Sufyan Moqeem and Abbas Afridi (United Tigers).
