The Pitt-Clooney duo wooed - and wowed - fans and viewers on the red carpet and onscreen

Hollywood came alive at the Venice Film Festival on September 1, 2024, as George Clooney and Brad Pitt showed us what Silverfoxcore is all about.

The duo, who star in Jon Watt's Wolfs, danced to Sade's 'Smooth Operator' as credits rolled on their latest cinematic outing, possibly basking in the glow of the five-minute standing ovation their film had just received.

Wolfs sounds like a good ol' enemies-to-buddies comedy. Since the buddies in question are George Clooney and Brad Pitt, there is an added air of glamour and gravitas.

Both Pitt and Clooney's characters are unnamed through the duration of the film, but are determined 'lone wolves' (hence the very clever movie title we assume), forced to work together. Hijinks ensue.

Speaking at the press conference marking the film'sworld premiere at the Venice Film Festival, Clooney expressed some disappointment that the film will be a mostly-streaming venture. At the same time, the actor admitted that the industry needs streaming, but possibly needs to figure out how to partner up with distributors so films can be watched as they were always meant to be: on big screens.

Wolfs is set for a limited theatrical release on September 20, while it will release on Apple TV+ on September 27.
