Shahbaz Ahmed Senior is a hockey legend from Pakistan, renowned for his exceptional speed, skill, and goal-scoring prowess.

While speaking to Nukta, Shahbaz recalled Pakistan’s glorious days in hockey.

Nicknamed the "Maradona of Hockey", Ahmed's impressive career spanned over a decade, during which he represented Pakistan in numerous international tournaments, including the Olympics and World Cups.

He represented his country and won the 1994 World Cup and 1994 Champions Trophy. He was also the 1990 and 1994 World Cup Player of the Tournament awards. His Olympic best is the 1992 bronze medal which was held in Barcelona.

His impressive record, combined with his electrifying performances on the field, earned him widespread acclaim and admiration from fans and opponents alike. Ahmed's legacy continues to inspire generations of hockey players in Pakistan and around the world.
