In a bold move to cement Dubai’s role as a global leader in AI, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, has announced the launch of Dubai AI Week, taking place from April 21-25, 2025.
This pioneering event will bring together the brightest minds in artificial intelligence experts, innovators, and leaders from around the world for a week of conferences, exhibitions, and initiatives designed to shape the future of AI.
The inaugural Dubai AI Week will be a hub of innovation, spotlighting cutting-edge advancements in AI, driving collaboration across industries, and tackling some of the most pressing challenges in the field.
With the Dubai Universal Blueprint for Artificial Intelligence as its guiding force, the event will feature a range of high-impact events held at Dubai’s most iconic venues, including the Museum of the Future and AREA 2071 at the Emirates Towers.
Highlights include the AI Retreat, the Dubai Assembly for Generative AI, the Global Prompt Engineering Championship, the Machines Can See Summit, and the Dubai AI Festival, all designed to spark new ideas and accelerate breakthroughs in AI. These events will bring together leading thinkers and organizations to drive the future of AI innovation.

Driving global impact at Dubai AI Week
Building on the success of the 2024 AI Retreat, Dubai AI Week 2025 will feature a series of high-impact events aimed at shaping the future of AI.
The AI Retreat, held at the Museum of the Future, will gather over 1,000 global experts, policymakers, and industry leaders. With four key roundtable discussions and the launch of ten strategic AI initiatives, the retreat will explore AI opportunities and expansion strategies across sectors.
The Dubai Assembly for Generative AI at AREA 2071 will bring together 1,800 participants, including ministers, CEOs, and top tech experts. This dynamic event will feature 25 sessions and 12 immersive experiences, spotlighting emerging AI technologies through discussions and live demos.
The Global Prompt Engineering Championship will see 40 finalists compete for a share of AED 1 million in prizes. With 2,000 applicants, the competition will focus on optimising AI for speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
The Dubai AI Festival at Madinat Jumeirah will attract 5,000 business leaders, 500 investors, and 100 exhibitors from 100 countries, offering a platform for global leaders to exchange ideas and showcase AI innovations.
Debuting at AI Week, the Machines Can See Summit will welcome 5,000 visitors and 850 participants to explore advancements in machine vision technologies, with insights from 40 global experts.
