Should you buy or sell gold right now?
Gold prices have crossed $2,500 per ounce in recent weeks
Gold prices have surged to record highs in recent weeks, rising to over $2,500 per ounce in the international market. Amid this consistent rise in gold prices, most people have one question — should they buy or sell gold right now?
Shan Saeed, global chief economist at Juwai IQI, said gold's bull run will continue. The US central bank is expected to cut the interest rate, which will result in the dollar's value declining while commodities, including wheat and gold, etc, will go up in price.
"Our prediction is that gold prices will range from $2,600-3,000 per ounce this year," he added.
Analyst Nazish Lutfi also said that the upward trend in gold prices was likely to continue.
"People should retain gold if they have bought it for investment purposes," he commented.
