In a separate incident, one person was killed and four others injured after debris from another intercepted attack triggered a fire at a gas facility in Abu Dhabi, according to the government media office. The victim, an Egyptian national, died during the evacuation, while the injured included two Pakistanis and two Egyptians, all suffering minor wounds.
Authorities said the facility sustained significant damage, underscoring the widening impact of the ongoing regional conflict.
Meanwhile, Emirates Global Aluminium said it may take up to a year to restore full production at its Abu Dhabi operations after damage caused by a recent Iranian missile strike on its Al-Taweelah plant.
The company said initial assessments indicate primary aluminium output could remain disrupted for months.
Iran has claimed responsibility for multiple strikes targeting industrial sites in the UAE and Bahrain since the conflict began on February 28, saying the facilities are linked to US military supply chains.
