Tekken star Arslan Ash says he's more successful than Arshad Nadeem
Arslan has won the prestigious EVO title five times in a highly fruitful international career in Esports.
Pakistan’s Tekken star Arslan ‘Ash’ Siddique believes that Esports doesn’t get the recognition it deserves in Pakistan.
While speaking in an exclusive interview withNukta, Arslan shared his journey in Tekken and the hurdles he faced while pursuing a professional career in gaming.
Despite winning multiple world titles, Arslan feels overlooked and underappreciated in Pakistan especially considering that javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem's Olympic medal received nationwide praise.
Tekken used to be dominated by players from the Far East but Pakistan have emerged as a powerhouse during the last few years.
Arslan is a five-time EVO champion, having won Tekken 7 at EVO Japan 2019, EVO 2019, EVO Japan 2023, and EVO 2023, and Tekken 8 at EVO 2024, as well as a Tekken World Tour Champion.
Arslan is considered as one of the greatest Tekken players of all time, and has played a key role in bringing the Pakistani fighting game community into the limelight.
