The Women’s Run returns to Dubai for its 11th edition
Get ready for another exciting Women’s Run in November
Dubai Fitness Challenge, initiated by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, returns in October and is bringing back the largest women-only running event in the region. The Women’s Run will take place on November 3 in Al Forsan Park, Expo City Dubai.
The Women’s Run aims to bring together women from all backgrounds, embracing a future of strength, unity, and progress in the Middle East, and beyond. Even the logo, which was inspired by the energy and movement of the race, sends a powerful message of inclusivity and empowerment.
Female runners of all levels are welcome to the event, as The Women’s Run gives a few options to choose from: a 3K fun run, the 5K circuit, or the challenging 10K distance.
Tickets start at 52 AED for adults and 26 AED for juniors.
Outside of the race, there are a bunch of exciting activities and fitness challenges, which will be interesting for adults and kids, so don’t hesitate to bring your family along. Ali Omar Albalooshi, Head of the Sports Events Department, Dubai Sports Council, said, "We are delighted to welcome back the upcoming edition of The Women’s Run, an event that resonates deeply with our mission to champion causes dedicated to women’s health and lifestyle. This event stands as a beacon of empowerment, fostering not just physical activity but a culture of strength, resilience, and well-being. Let us lace up our shoes and we look forward to seeing you at the starting line."
Dubai Fitness Challenge was first initiated in 2017. It invites Dubai residents to participate in fun sports activities every day during the month.
Meanwhile, The Women’s Run has become one of the most favorite sports events for ladies in the region since it first started in 2013. Be sure to follow the movement, as there are more campaigns and free events planned throughout the year.
