Winter City at Dubai Expo City is know for having one of the largest Christmas trees in the city.

It’s December in Dubai, and winter markets are popping up to keep up the festive spirit! Whether you’re a local resident or a visitor, there’s no better way to embrace the season of joy than by immersing yourself in the festive atmosphere of the city’s Christmas markets.

Madinat Jumeirah Christmas Market

Opening in 2006, this one’s an OG! Set against the winding canals of the Souk Madinat Jumeirah, this market offers festive food, live entertainment and a Santa’s Grotto experience for the little ones.

Entry is free. The market runs from December 6 to December 31, Monday through Thursday from 3 PM, and Friday through Sunday from noon.

Winter City

With one of the largest Christmas trees in the city, Expo City is going all out for December! Experience live caroling, dazzling light displays and fun workshops among other festive activities at this winter wonderland.

Entry is free, and the market is open December 6–31, Friday through Tuesday.

Winter District at Dubai Media Amphitheater

The Winter District at Dubai Media Amphitheater offers shoppers over 100 stalls to choose from, as well as an outdoor ice rink. Dubai Media Amphitheater

If you’re all about the hustle and bustle of the big city but still want to be festive, the Winter District is for you. Enjoy over 100 shopping stalls offering everything from seasonal food to handmade crafts or skate their outdoor ice rink for the ultimate winter experience.

Tickets start at AED 25 and the market is open December 14–22, noon to midnight.
