UAE minister expressed appreciation for China’s role in supporting initiatives that promote stability.

Abdullah bin Zayed, UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister, met with Zhai Jun, China’s Special Envoy for the Middle East, to discuss regional security and bilateral cooperation, WAM reported.
During the talks, the two officials reviewed the longstanding partnership between the United Arab Emirates and China, exploring opportunities to expand collaboration across political, economic, and strategic areas within the framework of their comprehensive strategic partnership.
They also addressed the recent Iranian missile attacks targeting the UAE and other countries in the region, focusing on measures to strengthen regional security and stability. Abdullah bin Zayed emphasized the importance of diplomatic solutions and responsible dialogue to ease tensions and safeguard peace.
The UAE minister expressed appreciation for China’s role in supporting initiatives that promote stability, encourage constructive dialogue, and advance peaceful resolutions to regional crises, noting the positive impact such efforts can have on development and prosperity in the region.
The meeting was attended by Reem Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, and Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Minister of State.
