Five convoys carrying Emirati humanitarian assistance entered the Gaza Strip this week via the Rafah Border Crossing in Egypt, as part of the UAE’s “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3” to support Palestinians amid ongoing challenges, WAM reported.
The convoys comprised 100 trucks transporting more than 2,376 tons of aid, including food, medical supplies, and shelter materials. With this delivery, the total humanitarian assistance provided through the Rafah crossing has now exceeded 10,000 tons.
The UAE humanitarian team based in Al Arish oversees the loading and transportation of the aid, ensuring it reaches the intended beneficiaries inside Gaza.
Since the truce began, the UAE has intensified its relief efforts, aiming to alleviate suffering, provide essential needs, and support the most vulnerable groups in the Strip.
The UAE reaffirmed its commitment to stand with the Palestinian people, mitigate the impact of the current crisis, and continue providing critical humanitarian support to those affected in Gaza.
