Iran's state television reported that Tehran had targeted US military personnel at Al Minhad Air Base in the UAE, saying the strikes involved dozens of attack drones. The Iranian army said the operation targeted areas where US helicopters and personnel were stationed at the base. It said the attack was carried out in retaliation for a US strike on Larak Island in the Strait of Hormuz.
