UAE dispatches largest aid ship yet for Gaza relief

The United Arab Emirates has sent its largest aid vessel to date as part of its ongoing humanitarian support for Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, WAM reported.

The ship, named Khalifa, set sail from Khalifa Port in Abu Dhabi, bound for Egypt’s El Arish Port, carrying over 7,000 tons of critical relief supplies. This marks the eighth shipment under the UAE’s “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3” initiative.

Loaded with 7,166 tons of aid, Khalifa is the largest vessel deployed so far by the UAE for Gaza. The shipment includes 4,372 tons of food, 1,433 tons of shelter materials, 860 tons of medical supplies, and 501 tons of health-related items.

With this latest consignment, the UAE’s total aid delivered to Gaza has now reached 77,266 tons.

The relief effort is being coordinated with UAE-based humanitarian and charitable organizations, reflecting the country’s continued commitment to supporting civilians affected by the ongoing crisis in Gaza.
