UAE leaders congratulate Donald Trump on inauguration as 47th U.S. president
UAE leaders express optimism for strengthened ties and regional peace under President Trump’s leadership.
UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan congratulated Donald Trump on his inauguration as the 47th President of the United States on Monday. He expressed optimism about the future of UAE-U.S. relations under President Trump’s leadership.
In a statement shared on the social media platform X, Sheikh Mohamed said:
“Congratulations to Donald Trump on his inauguration as 47th President of the United States. I wish him and his administration success and I look forward to working with him to further advance UAE-US strategic relations and promote regional peace and stability.”
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, also extended his congratulations in a message highlighting the importance of collaboration between the two nations:
“We look forward to continuing the journey of distinguished historical relations between the UAE and the United States in a way that benefits the two friendly countries and the region.” Sheikh Mohammed said.
Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, echoed these sentiments in his own message, emphasizing the shared vision between the UAE and the U.S. “The UAE and US are united by strategic ties, and we look forward to further strengthening these relations to serve our shared interests and aims." Sheikh Mansour said.
