Dr. Anwar Gargash, diplomatic adviser to UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, emphasized the need for lasting peace through an independent Palestinian state in a message shared on X.
Months of death & devastation in Gaza finally over. Let us pray for peace. Most infuriating was hearing, ‘according to the Gaza health ministry, which does not distinguish between combatants and civilians,’ as if war & bombings do.
Time for an independent Palestinian state.

UAE steps up humanitarian efforts
In line with its commitment to global humanitarian causes, the UAE has intensified relief efforts for Gaza through "Operation Chivalrous Knight 3."
More than 29,500 tons of essential supplies, including food, shelter, and medical aid, have been delivered to alleviate the dire conditions faced by residents.
Two additional aid convoys recently crossed into Gaza through the Rafah border crossing, providing critical support to the most vulnerable populations.
