UAE Verify lets users instantly verify government-issued documents without physical copies or certified copies.
UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation
UAE Verify, the digital platform run by the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA), has issued more than 42.926 million digital trusted documents since its 2022 launch, the Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported. It now supports 88 document types from 32 entities.
What is UAE Verify?
UAE Verify is a digital platform that lets citizens and residents get instant verification of Digital Trusted Documents issued by government entities. It checks each document’s authenticity, integrity and validity from the official source. Powered by blockchain, it is secure, tamper-proof and real-time.
How many documents has UAE Verify verified?
More than 1.252 million documents have been verified through the platform. It currently supports 88 types of digital documents issued by 32 federal and local government entities.
The platform launched in mid-January 2022. Government bodies, private-sector entities and individuals can use it to verify the authenticity of documents issued by participating government entities. Users can do this instantly, without physical documents or certified copies.
How do people get a trusted digital document?
Individuals can get a Trusted Digital Document through the platform’s partners or via UAE PASS. Holders can share their documents with any third party through various digital platforms. Government entities can add digital documents after joining as partners.
The platform also allows customers’ documents to be converted into trusted digital documents. These protect privacy and meet the highest standards of information security.
How does UAE Verify use blockchain?
The platform is seen as one of the UAE’s leading initiatives for digital transformation. It uses blockchain technology and works as a shared, real-time and encrypted digital ledger. The ledger processes and records transactions, contracts and documents.
This helps build trust in digital data and documents. It allows authenticity checks through digital auditing and makes sharing information easier.
How does UAE Verify fit into UAE digital government plans?
The figures come as government services move toward smarter, more proactive models in 2026. During the year, TDRA launched a programme to help government entities integrate digital identity services faster and more securely. The programme further strengthens the connectivity of the customer journey.
The 2026 Digital Government Customer Satisfaction Survey ranked the UAE first globally. Satisfaction with digital government services stood at 89%, and usage at 53%.
These developments show that reliable documents and instant verification are core pillars of a digital experience built on trust, data protection and ease of use.
UAE Verify supports the goals of the UAE Government Services Strategy. The strategy aims to deliver human-centered services and strengthen trust between the government and society. It also seeks to boost the country’s global competitiveness, ensure sustainability and improve operational efficiency.
The platform was launched under the UAE Digital Government Roadmap 2021-2025. The roadmap targets 100% digital government services, with a focus on individuals, businesses and federal government employees. Its main priorities include integrated, accessible and efficient digital services designed around customer needs. It also aims to strengthen digital capabilities and skills.
