We now know when Global Village will be reopening this year
Visitors can register their interest in purchasing VIP packs for its 29th season
Dubai Global Village will open for its 29th season on October 16 and will run until May 11, 2025.
The venue is the ultimate blend of culture, entertainment, and shopping, right in the heart of Dubai. It operated as a seasonal park, usually open from October to April. With pavilions showcasing countries from around the world, visitors can sample international cuisines, explore unique crafts, and shop for products.
The news of the new season has sparked excitement across social media, with fans eagerly expressing their anticipation. "I have no words… just excited and happy," commented one Instagram user on the official announcement video, while another simply exclaimed, "Can’t wait!!!”
According to the Global Village website, patrons can register their interest for the VIP packs to be the first to be notified when they go on sale. The packs usually sell out within a few hours. In the past, they have offered perks including VIP parking, free passes to select attractions, priority queueing, and special discounts within the park.
Regular ticket prices are yet to be announced. During past seasons however, tickets have been free for children under three years old, senior citizens over 65 years old and people of determination.
First opening in 1997, Global Village remains closed during the summer months and is a staple for UAE residents and tourists alike during the winter. The family-friendly attraction welcomed a record-breaking 10 million visitors during its 28th season.
Last year, Global Village hosted 27 pavilions representing over 90 cultures from around the world. Audiences were treated to over 40,000 shows, and over 400 artists took part last season. It also featured over 200 entertainment attractions, more than 3,500 shopping outlets and 250 dining options showcasing global cuisines.
