Tamasha, Pakistan’s popular Urdu-language reality-TV show, has returned for its third season on ARY Digital. The show is the local adaptation of the global sensation Big Brother, and is hosted by actor Adnan Siddiqui who serves as the 'Badshah' or King of the house. The new season, which premiered on August 3, 2024, features 18 contestants battling for a grand prize of Rs. 2.5 million.
The competition features a diverse lineup of housemates who are made to live in one makeshift Tamasha Ghar where every movement is captured on film. They are also assigned tasks that help them move forward or exit the game, depending on their performance. As for the viewers, they are treated to an unfiltered glimpse into human behavior who would do anything under pressure.
Recently, Junaid Akhtar, Saima Baloch, Malik Aqeel, Wajeeha Khan, Ayaz Sammo, Arsalan Khan, Mani Liaqat, and Dania Enwer were placed in the danger zone, while Noman Habib was safe from nominations. Voting lines for this elimination round closed earlier
The first season of Tamasha, which aired in 2022, featured 13 contestants and ran for 42 days. Actor Umer Aalam won, with Mareeha finishing as the runner-up.
Season 2, which aired in 2023, was longer, running 49 days and featuring 14 housemates. Aruba Mirza took home the title, while Junaid Niazi finished as the runner-up.
Now in its third season, Tamasha keeps audiences hooked with its high-stakes drama and intense competition. The show airs daily at 10 p.m. on ARY Digital and is likely to keep the viewers interested till the winner is revealed.
