Ayesha Aslam is the founder of Ride, Roll, Lead, a Karachi-based collective that empowers women to reclaim public space through cycling.

What began as a personal act of courage, riding a bicycle through a city where women’s presence on the roads is often questioned, soon became a powerful statement challenging gender norms on the streets.

Despite harassment and social resistance, Ayesha kept riding. For her, cycling is more than a sport. It is transport, empowerment, and a bold reminder that women belong in public spaces too.
