The UAE's General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSA) has launched a new digital pension platform called Ma'ashi, which is now operational for its users, WAM reported.

The new platform comes as part of GPSSA's contribution to the 2022 UAE performance agreements for federal entities to facilitate services to employers, insured Emiratis, pensioners and beneficiaries.

Utilizing Technology

GPSSA is also utilizing newest technological advancments to support its operations, including a generative AI chatbot, which facilitates the automation of customer happiness services and other interactive services, which supports the efficiency and speed of services.

Ma'ashi platforms aims to redesign services and offer timely and user-friendly digital solutions, while fulfilling the UAE Pension Authority’s strategy to offer customers proactive solutions.

Enhanced services by Ma'ashi

  • Employer Services: Employers can access GPSSA services 24/7, manage interactions with insured members, review and approve requests, and receive notifications for required actions.
  • Employee Independence: Insured civilians and military personnel can directly request services like end-of-service benefits, employment period adjustments, and service period purchases.
  • Proactive Retirement Planning: Members can calculate pension estimates, view employment history, and assess retirement eligibility to make informed retirement decisions.
  • Agent and Guardian Services: Agents or guardians can manage services on behalf of elderly or minor members, including registering or updating reports and certificates.
  • Financial Tracking and Reporting: Users can track contributions, make payments, and generate invoices, statements, and other reports.
  • Enhanced Privacy and Accessibility: The platform provides secure, private access to all services anytime, ensuring transparency and data confidentiality.
