ADIPEC 2024 launches in Abu Dhabi, driving energy and AI innovations for sustainability

Abu Dhabi is currently hosting the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC), which kicked off on November 4, 2024, at the ADNEC Centre.

Held under the theme "Connecting Minds. Transforming Energy," and organized by ADNOC, ADIPEC 2024 celebrates 40 years of industry leadership and runs until November 7.

This year’s event has drawn over 184,000 attendees from 164 countries, marking it as the largest ADIPEC edition to date.

This year, ADIPEC explores the intersection of energy and artificial intelligence (AI), gathering global leaders, investors, and decision-makers to discuss energy's pivotal role in economic transformation and sustainable growth.

The event showcases more than 2,200 exhibitors, including 54 national and international oil companies and 30 country pavilions, highlighting advancements in energy, AI, decarbonization, and digitalization.

Highlights and key attractions

A major feature of ADIPEC 2024 is the new AI Zone, "Energyai" by ADNOC, where companies like enercap, Accenture, AIQ, Microsoft, and Baker Hughes are unveiling groundbreaking AI solutions aimed at meeting energy demands while reducing emissions.

This specialized zone includes the Energyai Conference, Creative AI Lab, Reskilling Lab, interactive demos, and dedicated networking spaces, allowing attendees to engage directly with the latest AI technologies.

Throughout the event, more than 1,800 speakers, including 40 ministers and 200 C-suite executives, are participating in 370 sessions across ten conferences, including the flagship Strategic Conference.
