Bollywood star Alia Bhatt recently revealed that she has been diagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). In a candid interview with Indian media, the Jigra actress shared that her diagnosis came after undergoing detailed tests.

Alia explained that, looking back, the signs were always present. She would often zone out during classes or conversations, something her friends noticed. However, she never understood why this was her 'normal' until now.

Despite the challenges of living with ADHD, Alia says she finds her calmest moments when she’s either with her daughter, Raha, or immersed in filming, saying she's most present in front of the camera.

She recalled an example from her wedding day when her makeup artist, Puneet B Saini, wanted to spend hours doing her makeup, but Alia’s impatience made it difficult to sit still.

Alia, married to fellow actor Ranbir Kapoor, says she now better understands herself and how to manage her ADHD, all while continuing to balance her successful career and personal life.
